Eugene Borukhovich
Eugene Borukhovich is advancing behavior change with YourCoach Health, a human-in-the-loop coaching platform that embeds in-product via clean APIs and lightweight widgets. Think certified coaches supported by AI that augments—not replaces—care, appearing inside employer, provider, and consumer experiences people already use. The premise is disciplined: protect privacy, mandate interoperability, and use technology to amplify human connection into sustained outcomes.
Technology alone won’t fix healthcare—human connection will.
Borukhovich’s lens is personal and operational: navigating cancer alongside his wife exposed how clinical care and daily life often fall out of sync—and why coaching must sit next to data, not behind it. That experience shaped YourCoach’s architecture: validated, scalable coaching; AI that assists judgment and timing; and partner integrations that make support feel invisible yet effective. His advice to leaders cuts against Valley tropes: leave the boardroom, listen on the frontline, and move deliberately in regulated systems where trust must be earned. Not every problem needs venture fuel; friendstrapping and rigorous problem selection can build sturdier companies than growth-at-all-costs. The throughline is clarity: solve real problems, uphold privacy and interoperability so people truly own their data, and put humans at the center so tools become transformational—not just transactional.

Previously, Eugene headed up Bayer’s Digital Health unit, ran a healthcare consulting practice and prior to that was CIO International at Medco Health (now Evernorth).
